Mezzo Quartet

Mezzo Quartet was established in 2017 at the Professional Conservatoire in Terrassa. Since their beginning, the passion for chamber music and friendship has united them. They seek to show what a saxophone quartet can do and spread the classical and contemporary music for this formation.

They have obtained great results in chamber competitions playing 19th century classical music as well as contemporary composers the formation has participated in internationally renowned festivals in the world of saxophone as is the case of the FISP in Portugal and has been awarded with prizes in several competitions such as the Concurs Mirabent i Magrans, the Juventudes Musicales de España and many others. In July 2025, Mezzo Quartet participated in an artistic residency supported by Juventudes Musicales, where they gave masterclasses to several chamber groups during the ViMMa Festival in Málaga. During this residency, they worked hand in hand with composer Bernat Cucarella on a new piece titled “Variaciones en formato Vertical,” which they premiered in a concert as part of the festival program.

This project aims to develop a user-friendly mobile application that enhances productivity and organization. Through intuitive design and seamless functionality, users can efficiently manage tasks, set reminders, and collaborate with team members.
